Services

I offer postpartum support, which includes creating space for new parents to be heard and feel confident in their own parenting decisions. First and foremost, I listen to your needs, and the way you want to go about caring for your family. I currently primarily offer overnight care.

Postpartum Support

Support looks different for each family, which can include:

  • Mother Care & Healing Support

  • Newborn Care & Education

  • Breastfeeding Assistance & Infant Feeding Education

  • Mother-Baby Bonding Support

  • Non-judgmental Emotional Support

  • Light Housekeeping

  • Running Errands

  • Meal Preparation

  • Newborn Sleep Tips & Soothing Techniques

  • Sibling Support

  • Referrals to Local Resources

  • Processing Birth Story

  • Recognizing Mood & Anxiety Disorders

  • Overnight Care

*Postpartum doulas are NOT medical professionals and do NOT diagnose medical conditions. It is my role as a doula to know what is outside my scope of practice, and refer out as necessary.

Overnight Care

Overnight care will be geared towards a family’s specific needs and goals for feeding & sleep. I provide newborn care, helping them transition into longer sleep stretches, while you get sleep yourself. I can do household chores (laundry, tidying up, dishes, food prep, etc..) while baby sleeps. If breastfeeding, I’ll bring baby to you when they are ready for a feed. The goal is to get new parents as much sleep in this time period as possible and leave you feeling refreshed, with a clean house, and, if you’d like, breakfast prepared.

Virtual Support

I am offering reassurance to postpartum families through Zoom calls or Facetime for those that are not risking in-person support at this time. I’m available virtually to offer emotional support, evidence-based information, answers to ALL the newborn and postpartum questions, and referrals when needed.

*One hour minimum, $45/hr.

*COVID-19 Update*

Postpartum Care is so needed in the midst of this pandemic, and is considered essential work in the state of Washington. I am following strict social distancing and mask-wearing protocol to keep myself, and the families I work with, healthy and safe. To limit exposure, I will remain masked while in your home, wash my hands immediately upon entering & consistently throughout a shift, and wipe down surfaces throughout my time in the home and before I leave. I am offering Virtual Support for those that still need support but are not risking in person support at this time.
